Shopify store design without app bloat

Sound familiar?

Too many apps. Not enough sales.

Many stores pile on paid apps for reviews, upsells, pop-ups, and page sections. Each one adds a monthly fee and more code that slows the store down. Pages get harder to edit, and checkout gets cluttered. A lean theme with built-in sections keeps the store fast, easier to run, and cheaper every month.

Build

Your store is designed around your products and brand, with product pages, collections, and checkout set up, mobile-ready, and tested before launch.

Lean

Paid apps add monthly fees and slow pages down. Where it makes sense, I build features into the theme instead of stacking subscriptions.

Maintain

Ongoing maintenance and small edits are handled in your monthly plan. You keep your own Shopify account and pay Shopify directly, about $29 a month.

Founder, Top Web Works

East Valley, AZ area

I led three Shopify migrations at Imagine Learning with one reusable design system, and replaced paid apps with sections marketers could control themselves. I bring that same approach to local stores: a clean theme, fewer monthly app fees, and pages you can update without calling a developer.

How to get started

Three steps, no surprises.

1

Start with a free preview

I review your business and your current site, if you have one, then build a free working prototype of your homepage. You tap through it on your phone, we make a few tweaks, and you see the direction before you pay anything.

2

I build your site and lead system

After a 50% deposit, I build the rest of your site: custom coded, mobile-ready, and set up for SEO, AEO, and GEO. Live chat, forms, and follow-up go live in TWW CRM, tested before launch. The balance is due at launch.

3

Your plan keeps it running

Your first month is included, then your plan keeps the site maintained and leads followed up. Grow adds text follow-up, reviews, and social posts. Dominate adds Google and Meta ads, landing pages, and blog posts.

Do I need my own Shopify account?

Yes. Shopify requires store owners to hold their own account and pay Shopify directly, starting around $29 a month billed annually. Design, setup, and ongoing maintenance are handled by Top Web Works.

Is Top Web Works a Shopify Partner?

Yes. Top Web Works is a Shopify Partner, and Brett has led three enterprise Shopify migrations.

Why do too many Shopify apps hurt a store?

Each app can add scripts that slow your pages and a monthly fee that adds up. I review what your store actually needs and build simple features into the theme when that is the better choice.

Can you move my store to Shopify from another platform?

Yes. Every migration is scoped and quoted before work starts. Brett has led three enterprise Shopify migrations using one reusable design system.

Do you handle orders, inventory, or shipping?

No. You run orders, inventory, and shipping in your own Shopify admin. I handle the store design, setup, and ongoing maintenance.
