Common support questions.
Yes - completely. The Shopify account is yours, your products are yours, your customer data is yours. We manage it on your behalf but you have full access and ownership at all times. You can take it over or move on whenever you want.
Yes. Shopify charges its own hosting subscription billed directly to you and separate from Top Web Works. Current annual rates are about $29/mo (Basic), $79/mo (Grow), and $299/mo (Advanced). Most new stores start on the Basic hosting plan.
Yes. Management plans are month-to-month with no long-term commitment. Cancel anytime and your store stays live - you just take over managing it yourself.
Management is optional. If you select it during onboarding, service starts after payment is received. You can also skip it at first and add it later through Support.
Yes. If your store grows and you need more support, you can upgrade your management plan anytime. Additional setup work - like adding more products or pages - can be quoted separately.
Yes. We apply your branding to the store - we don't create it. You'll need to provide a logo file, your brand colors (hex codes), and product photos before the build can start. If you don't have a logo yet, we recommend Fiverr or 99designs to get one made first.
We configure your shipping zones and rates in Shopify so your store is ready to accept orders. Actually fulfilling orders - packing, shipping, and delivery - is handled by you. Shopify includes built-in label printing at discounted USPS and UPS rates to make that straightforward. Third-party fulfillment integrations (ShipBob, ShipStation, etc.) are outside our scope.
No. We build and maintain your Shopify store - that's it. Paid ads, email campaigns, and social media management are separate services outside our scope. We'll make sure your store is ready to support those efforts, but running them is up to you or another provider.
Adding a new product or editing an existing one - title, description, price, photos, variants. Each product counts as one. Bulk uploads beyond your plan limit are quoted separately before we start.
One promotion per month - a discount code or automatic discount configured in Shopify, sale pricing applied to the relevant products, and a banner or announcement bar updated to promote it. Does not include ad copy, email campaigns, social posts, or graphic design. You provide any images needed.
Just email us. If it fits within your plan we'll take care of it. If it's larger - like a new landing page or a bulk product upload - we'll send a quick quote before doing anything. No surprises, no work started without your approval.
